Collision
Collision
Behind the Painting
We spend much of our lives trying to separate what was never meant to be divided.
The body.
The spirit.
The seen.
The unseen.
Yet they keep meeting within us.
This painting captures that sacred point of impact—the place where human limitation collides with eternal longing. Where the physical world can no longer satisfy what the soul is searching for, and the spirit begins to awaken us to another reality.
The collision is uncomfortable. It asks us to loosen our grip on what is familiar and lift our eyes toward what cannot be seen. But perhaps that tension is not something to escape. Perhaps it is where transformation begins.
This painting is an invitation to embrace the complexity of being human—to recognize that we are both earthly and eternal, carrying a body that belongs to this world and a spirit that continually longs for something greater.

A Note to the Collector
I don't believe art is chosen by chance.
Every painting begins as a quiet conversation between God, the canvas, and me. Long before I know where it will go, I trust that the One who inspired it already knows the person it was created to meet.
If this piece has found you, perhaps it is because part of your own story is reflected within it.
My hope is that it becomes more than something beautiful on your wall. I hope it serves as a daily reminder of truth, hope, and the quiet faithfulness of God through every season of life.
Thank you for giving this painting a place to call home.
